Kingfish putting up a big fight and snapping your line

No easy fight for a monster kingfish

How to make a:

How to make an Eel hand line

You need 50 pound braided line, normal line, a swivel, heavy sinkers, hand casters and small hooks.

The goal is to catch Eels with the hand line and teach you how to make this.

1. You first need to get the hand caster out of the packet and wrap the normal line around the hand caster.

2. Put the sinker on the line and tie the swivel onto the line.

3. Tie about 15 cm of the 50 pound braid on the other side of the swivel.

4. Tie the hook on the 50 pound braid.

5. You can attach a handle on to the hand caster.

6. Go to a creek were there are eels and put some raw meat on the hook and drape the hand line next to a bank were there aren't strong currents.

7. You should catch something if you do you can eat it, keep it as bait or release it. It can be used for other fishing like saltwater.

Fish Cake

For writing in Room 5 we are doing recipes. My recipe is a fish cake. The recipe has black pepper they look nice if you like fish. They look like this.

How to make Fish cake

Ingredients

Potatoes

Spring onions

Fish-snapper is good

Black pepper

eggs

1.get some potatoes and then take off the skin and boil them. Then mash them.

2. put the fish in spring onions and put milk in a shallow dish. Dran the fish and spring onions gently mix the potatoes avoiding breaking up the fish to much.

3. Along with the sweet corn chetorer and a generous grind of a little bit of black pepper into 6-8 patties. Pour egg on the plate and flower on the other dish. Dip the patties in the egg and then  put the patties in the fridge for about half an hour.

4.lower it onto a pan and cook for 5-7 min until the bottom is golden and heat it all the way through.

The warriors have found the Dungeon were the plans are. The year is 100,000,000,000,000,021 BC, the leader is Fire Goblin he is 10cm his weakness waves and sharksie weapons are fire and sword that shoots out lighting. His abilities are speed, can go into small places and he doesn't get heart in fire or lightning he’s mean but smart.
The other warriors are Author the Dwarf, Sarason the Warrior, Littlejane the Hobbit and Touchfire the wizard. “We need to get some food now!” said Fire Goblin
“Ok but were?” said Author the Dwarf
“Then follow me.” Said Fire Goblin
They go to the food store
“Ok we have the food now how to get out?” said Littlejane the Hobbit
“Go get the guard in the empty room Sarason the Warrior!” said Fire Goblin

“Ok!” said Sarason the Warrior.

New Zealand Huia

Huias are native birds of New Zealand. Huias come from the North Island in New Zealand. They are scared birds. They are extinct birds from New Zealand.

Look like
They have long beaks to eat adult insects, grubs and spiders they are a black bird and the end of it’s tale is white. Some can be white. A Huia Can get up to 45cm but female huias can be bigger.

Habitat
Their habitat is in the North Island in new zealand.

Extinct
Huias are extinct in the 1907 because of its beauty. Some was killed from glass cases. A huia is a New Zealand native bird that last confirmed sighting of a huia was in 1907. It was all ready a rare bird before the arrival of Europeans.

Christmas in summer

Christmas in summer is great because you can go for a swim. But there is a problem: it’s so hard to get to sleep. There are 2 reasons why you can't get to sleep: it’s so hot and it’s Christmas Eve. Christmas is so fun and it’s my favourite holiday.

Once there were two boys named Ice Skeleton and Farland Tamer. They were explorers until they got captured by the Herobrine and his crew.





Chapter 1

“Where's my trident and my diamonds??”
Said Dj Creeper “I don’t know” said Farland Tamer “but I don’t know where my
diamond armor is. Look it's Herobrine with our loot” said Farland Tamer “and look it’s also a wither storm and it’s controlling Herobrine”
“Oh no, now he’s true evil without the wither
storm controlling it” said Dj Creeper.

Chapter 2

When the wither storm left Herobrine was so evil. “Look an Iron Golems parts when they die! Herobrine's close” said Farland Tamer “yep” said Dj Creeper. After that
Ice Skeleton and Farland Tamer went to their treehouse to get some resources like a carrot, two diamonds and and a bow.

Chapter 3

They went off to find Herobrine and
the wither storm. On their way they found someone named Steve “Steve what happened to you?” said Farland Tamer “a big wither storm past” said Steve. “Wow! we want to find that thing and kill it” said Dj Creeper “can you hear it? it’s over there” said Farland Tamer

Chapter 4
“Their eating pigs! lets kill him before Herobrine comes” said Farland Tamer. “There he is! I’ll just put a formidi bomb next to Herobrine then I need a flint and steel
to light it. Now move back guys” said Dj Creeper “It’s going to blow!” said Farland Tamer … KABOOM!

When I went to point wells

When I went to Point Wells, the first day we just hang out at my auntie’s Bach.The next day we just went diving off a wharf. On the 3rd day we went fishing. We saw a Whale and it came up to the boat. We saw a jellyfish and about 60 dolphins. We caught 10 fish. Then I went diving off the wharf.





On the 4th day, we went diving and fishing with a net and I caught 4 fish. Someone else got 4. They were pilchard. On Thursday we went to Pakiri beach and we saw 25 jellyfish. The first jellyfish we saw was a huge one and it was in 3 parts and its guts were everywhere and it’s really poisonous.

On Friday we went on the wharf again and I went the jumping. I brought my rod and caught a fish and it was a pilchard but it slipped off my hand. On my last day Saturday I went to Omaha for a surf and the waves were 2.60 meters then we packed our bags and in the afternoon I went to the wharf. I didn’t jump and we got in the car and went home.

Whangarei

Whangarei

Whangarei is a place where my grandma and my cousins live. My cousins live on a farm. They have pigs, chickens, sheep and two dogs. When I go up to Whangarei, we always go to a beach, either Ruakaka or a beach near my Grandma’s house.

I get my surfboard and I padel down the beach or snorkel. The water is really refreshing. When I was 5 or 6, I kayak there.
I like going to Whangarei. It’s fun.

Ruakaka surf

Ruakaka Surf

Ruakaka Surf is a surfing club at the Ruakaka beach. I've done the surfing lesson once. There were big rocks that you can hit but nobody did. Before we surfed, we were doing games. My favourite game was when you have a buddy and you go on your surfboard on the grass and your buddy has to push you off and you need to stay on the board then we went surfing. It was really fun.

how to ripstick

How to ripstick

1.You need to put your foot on the first part of the ripstick.

2. Then push off with the foot that's on the ground and put the foot on the back of the ripstick.

3. Then you need to balance and wiggle your feet and put your arms in the ear and move side to side.


And there is a ripsurf but it’s harder to ride and you ride the same but it’s harder.



I took a day to learn how to ripsurf and ripstick.
It was fun and cool.

star wars

Star wars
Star Wars is a famous movie and it’s my favorite movie, too. Darth Vader, he’s dead now it’s Kylo Ren. You may know Luke Skywalker, but he’s dead too. The people are Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron. He’s a x-wing pilot.

Artoo Detoo and c3po are still alive but there's another droed called bb8 he’s Poe’s droed.


This is the imperial star destroyer. It’s the ship with the dark side. It can follow ships in hyperspace and no ship can do that except this ship.

Louie

Louie a little dog
Louie is bland and big. He’s 10 months old and he’s got big teeth.

And he’s weird. Once he nearly pushed me off the porch, the porch shown in the picture below.
But I got down from there just in time. This picture was taken the second day we got him

Sharks

Shark are not who they look like, they think surfers are seals. The Great White, people say it is the most dangerous shark but it’s not, it is a really friendly shark. The most dangerous shark is the bull shark but it does not eat people. All sharks are colour blind so they think we're seals. 
Sharks are my favourite animal and my favourite shark is the Great White.

My second favourite shark is the Blue Shark.

Eden Rugby

EDEN Rugby is a famous rugby club and I play in the club. I’m in Eden Gold under 10 so I take line-outs and scrams. I play in the forwards so I go in the rucks. Rucks are when someone with the ball is on the ground, you push the other teams forwards and they push over the person on the ground so your team gets the ball back.
