Battleship



This week in room 5 we did some poems and two people did two poems. I did a ship and it was really fun. And my friends did the ship too. The poems are going to another school in New Zealand.

Aiden's Escape from kraznir Book 1

Chapter 1
The warriors have found the Dungeon were the plans are. The year is 100,000,000,000,000,021 BC, the leader is Fire Goblin he is 10cm his weakness waves and sharksie weapons are fire and sword that shoots out lighting. His abilities are speed, can go into small places and he doesn't get heart in fire or lightning he’s mean but smart.
The other warriors are Author the Dwarf, Sarason the Warrior, Littlejane the Hobbit and Touchfire the wizard. “We need to get some food now!” said Fire Goblin
“Ok but were?” said Author the Dwarf
“Then follow me.” Said Fire Goblin
They go to the food store
“Ok we have the food now how to get out?” said Littlejane the Hobbit
“Go get the guard in the empty room Sarason the Warrior!” said Fire Goblin

“Ok!” said Sarason the Warrior.

Growth Mindset

In Room 5 we are doing Growth Mindset, a growth mindset is when you think that you can't do something you say I can't do this YET Yet is a grate word for a growth mindset. Inst ed of saying "that person is way better at me" you say "I can get as good at that person by practise" if you say you're bad at something you're having a fixed mindset and fixed mindset it not good so you want a growth mind set.

puberty talk

The year 6 boys had a puberty talk this week and learnt we grow beards and moustaches and you will sweat more and you need exercise and more food, sleep, 2/3 litres of water because you get more hungry and burn out all the energy from the food.
