Our Maori Dance
When I was learning to do my poi dance, I was so bad at first. But I got the hang of it. The next day we went outside to do it with Lisa, (Ellia’s mum). We were divided into two dance groups. One is poi dance and the other is the break dance which is a really cool dance. Poi dance is a maori dance and we learnt the dance for the school production which is in Term 2.

It isn't easy to use the poi, but I must say that I'm impressed with your skills. It's always nice to learn about different cultures and we are so lucky to have parents come in and help us to learn about their cultures.
