How are day and nights formed

The Earth spins around and it seems that the Sun moves but Earth moves. It takes 24 hours for Earth to spin. The day and night affects most animals like birds and insects and animals who need sunlight for warmth to be busy.  Cold-blooded creatures, like snakes and lizards need the Sun for warmth.
Some animals are busy at night. They go to hunt for food when it is dark like badgers and barn owls.
People work and play during the day and sleep at night.
