Doing a blog

Doing a blog can be so easy some days but other days really hard. I have 38 posts so far. You need to do certain amount of post each term and every week you need 2 Posts. I really like having a blog because other people can read and know about your work we do in class time. The Year 5’s and 6’s have a blog so the year 4, 3, 2 and 1 have a class blog but they don’t have an individual blog each..

Passport

For our passport we had to do a lot of fun activities and get two hundred points by the end of term 4. The activities are fun but some can be hard. You need to choose at least one activity from each category along the side and your teacher can deduct points off you and give you bonus points if needed. I am up to 90 points so far this term.

Christmas in summer

Christmas in summer is great because you can go for a swim. But there is a problem: it’s so hard to get to sleep. There are 2 reasons why you can't get to sleep: it’s so hot and it’s Christmas Eve. Christmas is so fun and it’s my favourite holiday.

Math

For maths this week we were doing shapes and find out the number of faces, edges and corners. This shape is a square based pyramid. It has 5 faces, 8 edges and 5 corners. This one was easy for me.

writing

For writing this week we were doing persuasive writing and Mr Gadd came to our class and he helped some of us. My topic was swim between the flags and be safe at the beach.

Inquiry

This week for inquiry we are focusing on Kia Kaha, we created shields. I wrote about what makes my class special and unique and what makes me unique.
